This week we are opening up ourselves to a multi media "This I believe" project. There is a lot to learn compressed into a very concise project, which itself is a lesson to be learned. This past week has been pretty fast paced, where learning is concerned. I've learned that in order to make a presentation that can entertain an audience, it is important to be concise. This means it is important to trim down a presentation to the necessary details, leaving out things that the audience does not need or will not find interesting.
Another thing to observe from this project is the ability to stay flexible. This week has thrown a lot of curveballs, I have never even attempted to edit a video before and now I'm doing it in an English class. It is a little exciting to meet the challenge of learning a few things at once. Using Wevideo has been very helpful in creating a digital story.
After all of this the most difficult part has been translating the idea in my head into audio format. My story has gone through many iterations, and finding the right one has been tough. When I get the right story I'll have a much easier time putting together a story.
