This week in AP Lit, we spent working and learning on a multi-modal project. The main things to learn from this project is all about working with people who have information you do not have. We spent the majority of the week finishing the book and putting together our picture notes. This allowed us to keep all of the information fresh in our brains when we start putting the project together. We also had to spend some time looking at examples in order to find direction for our project.
Also this week was spent learning more about my role. I had to break out some old knowledge of coding to relearn how to do it. It is going to take some work to make this project fit the vision I have for it.
The Alchemist is all about fulfilling your own personal destiny. While I do not necessarily agree in destiny or anything, the book does an excellent job of making its point. i find that it is a lot easier to understand this story than others we have looked at in the past. It covers huge themes like living a happy life and finding purpose in life. That is what the project is all about, involving purpose with the environment.
