This week I learned about combining group ideas in the form of pre-writing. I had a lot of practice in sifting through ideas with a partner and deciding which ones would stick. We started by setting up a few thought maps to organize our largest ideas.
Combining the three books we had for summer has not been the easiest task.
This week was also about dusting off parts of my brain I had not used for the majority of the summer. The hands off learning style has really been useful for working out ideas and problems on my own, if the year continues like this I will be glad to have taken AP Lit.
I had not read all of the chapters of "How To Read Lit Like a Professor" and I was able to find this online to help finish it during class. I mostly checked the table of contents to work on which chapters we could relate to our other novels. Overall this week was about getting organized and getting used to school again.
